Olvio has three plans: Starter, Growth, and Scale. They differ on how many products they cover, how long conversations are kept, how many languages the widget serves, whether the Olvio Advisor is included, and how many knowledge files and web pages you can add. You choose your plan on the Plans page of the Olvio admin.

Prices are in US dollars.

Your first subscription includes a 14-day free trial, whichever plan you choose. Switching plans afterwards doesn't restart the trial, so start it on the plan you expect to keep. See Your 14-day free trial explained. Until you choose a plan, the Olvio admin only shows the Plans page and the widget stays hidden on your storefront. Every plan card on the Plans page lists these features:

Support is the same on every plan. Features that aren't in the table above are included on every plan, for example the suggested questions on your product pages, product cards with add to cart in the chat, and the Unanswered tab of Conversations.

Use the Monthly and Yearly · Save 20% toggle above the plan cards. Monthly plans are billed every 30 days and yearly plans once a year. A yearly plan saves about 20% compared with twelve monthly payments:

In yearly mode, each card shows the equivalent monthly price ($39, $79, or $199) with the yearly total underneath, for example Billed $470 annually on Starter. See Switch between monthly and yearly billing.

Next to Your catalog: at the top of the Plans page, Olvio shows the number of products Shopify reports for your store. The count stops at 10,000. A plan whose limit is lower than that number is grayed out, its button reads Catalog too large (Current plan on the plan and billing option you already have), and the card shows your product count next to the number of products the plan covers. Choose a plan that covers your catalog. See Plans page problems: activation stuck or 'Catalog too large'.

If the number of products Olvio has imported goes above your plan's limit, Olvio keeps syncing and answering questions about every product. The Dashboard (click Olvio in the app menu) shows a banner such as You're over the Starter product limit, with an Upgrade to a bigger plan button.

Your plan sets how long conversations are kept: 30 days on Starter, 90 days on Growth, and 365 days on Scale. Olvio deletes older conversations automatically every day, and they no longer appear on the Conversations page. Questions on the Unanswered tab are kept for the same period.

Starter keeps about one month of conversations. To keep conversations for a quarter or a full year, choose Growth or Scale.

Olvio works with the languages you publish in Shopify. Your plan sets how many of them the widget serves, and your default language always counts as one:

On a page in a language your plan doesn't serve, the widget shows in your default language and the AI answers in it, unless the shopper writes in another language. To hide the widget on those pages instead, check Hide the widget on languages Olvio doesn’t cover in the same card. See Multi-language: choose which languages your widget serves.

The Olvio Advisor is included on Growth and Scale. It's a guided conversation that shoppers open from an Advisor link on your storefront: the AI asks a few questions, then recommends products. Advisor links only work while the Olvio Advisor app embed is on in your theme editor. See What is Olvio Advisor?.

On Starter, the Advisor page shows the banner Advisor is available on Growth and above with a See plans button, and the Advisor doesn't open on your storefront.

On the AI Setup page, Knowledge files and External web pages each have their own limit: 10 of each on Starter, 30 on Growth, and 100 on Scale. A counter such as 3/10 under each section's description shows how many you've added.

When you reach the limit, delete one to add another. On Starter or Growth, you can also move to a larger plan. See Add knowledge files and web pages to Olvio's knowledge base.

You can switch at any time from the Plans page to any plan that covers your catalog. You approve each switch in Shopify, and most switches start as soon as you do. If you pay yearly, a switch to a cheaper yearly plan or to any monthly plan starts at the beginning of your next billing cycle. When a smaller plan starts:
